'ACTS OF GOD', POLITICAL DISTURBANCES AND OTHER ISSUES AFFECTING TRIP DEPARTURE

Riding Into Life will never cancel a trip due to low numbers. However, very rarely, a situation may arise beyond the control of Riding Into Life or the client's, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other similar events that affect our ability to deliver a safe and enjoyable trip. In this case, we consult extensively with our local staff to ascertain the possibility of running a safe trip. Our cancellation policy is as follows: -If our local staff feel the trip can go ahead without undue risk to our clients’ safety, then the trip will go ahead and if the customer decides to cancel then that is treated as a passenger cancellation. -If we feel it would be unsafe to run a trip as scheduled, then the trip is cancelled and we give you a spot on another departure of the same trip, or a full credit to use towards any of our other trips. Please rest assured that your safety is our #1 concern, and we would not run a trip if we felt your safety would be compromised.

FLIGHTS

Each participant is responsible for booking their own flight to the city where the trip begins. Please note most airlines charge an additional fee for bikes. Fees can be significant – ensure that you confirm the policy before finalizing your booking.

For all trips, we will set a meeting place and time at the airport on Day 1 of your trip. If you wish to stay longer, or arrive earlier, please notify Riding Into Life so that we can help you to arrange your travels.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF RIDE PARTICIPANTS

Ride participants have a certain responsibility to Riding Into Life and other trip participants. Ride participants are responsible for: understanding the conditions implied in the Ride Itinerary, selecting a trip that is appropriate to their skill and fitness levels, preparing for the trip accordingly and having the proper bike and equipment needed for the selected trip. A participant may be asked to leave a trip if the leader feels that the person's continued participation may prove detrimental to the individual or to the well-being and enjoyment of other guests.

RECKLESS RIDING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ON ANY RIDING INTO LIFE RETREAT.
