Bushcraft skills and nature play for ages 5-13 at Tranquille Creek, Kamloops
No school on October 23? Send them to the creek instead. This Pro D Day camp is a mix of bushcraft skills, free play in nature, and a full day of moving their bodies outdoors, rain, shine, or snow. We'll show your kid that you can dress for any weather and still have the best day, right here in Kamloops, BC.
This one's part bushcraft camp, part nature camp. Your kid will learn real outdoor skills like fire building basics, shelter building, and how to use the tools and knots that make bushcraft fun instead of scary. Then they'll spend the rest of the day doing what kids are built to do outside: exploring, building, running, climbing, and playing at Tranquille Creek in Kamloops.
We're outside for the whole day, so we teach layering and weather-ready dressing as we go. By the end of it, your kid knows they can handle whatever the sky throws at them, whether that's a sunny October afternoon or the first snow of the season.
Weather-appropriate layers (we'll send a full packing list after registration), a refillable water bottle, a lunch and snacks, and a spirit of adventure. We provide all the bushcraft gear and equipment.
We run rain, shine, or snow. Dressing for the weather is part of what we teach, so as long as your kid is layered up, we're outside having fun no matter the forecast.
Yes. No experience needed. Our coaches teach every skill from scratch, and kids of all comfort levels do great in this program.
It's a full-day, drop-off Pro D Day program, 9:00am to 3:00pm, at Tranquille Creek.
