We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience outdoor adventure! Through our campership fund we are able to reduce the barriers to entry by supporting youth and women with financial support to attend our programs!

This fund is supported by sales of our clothing, by donation events and support from local businesses. This program was created specifically to support those who need it!

FAQ’s

Is my family/camper eligible to receive funding from Adventuring Into Life?

Families whose financial circumstances make them unable, not unwilling, to pay the full fee, may apply to receive funding.

What sessions can Camperships help subsidize?

Camperships can help subsidize any camp program. You may apply for one session per person per season.

If I receive assistance through the Campership Program, what is expected of me?

Receiving assistance requires a commitment of sending a letter of support after camp. Adventuring Into Life receives donations that allow us to offer this program, the letters from families who have received funding assist us in continuing to offer this program.

If I have received assistance in the past from Adventuring Into Life, can I apply again?

Yes. However we ask that you continue to contribute more towards the camp fee every year. Also, please note that preference will be given to first time campers.

How does the process work?
APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

1. Completed Campership Application
2. Letter of Reference.
3. Post camp - thank you / testimonial

Letter of Reference:

The letter of reference MUST be from a non-relatives. The letter should state their relationship to the person applying, include contact information and signature of the person providing the reference, and answering the following questions:

1. What makes this child/women a deserving candidate for the Campership program?
2. How do you think the participant will benefit from an Adventuring Into Life experience?

Thank you letters / Testimonials:

A thank you email from the participant (and parent if for a child) will help us show appreciation to our donors and will help our fund-raising efforts in the future. When donors hear how their donation helped make a difference in someone’s life, they are more likely to donate again and encourage others to do the same. Please help us thank our donors with letters, cards and stories (for privacy, you do not have to use full names, you may also sign with initials).

We would like you to answer the following questions:
• What did you like about camp?
• What have you learned?
• What skills did you acquire?
• How the program made a difference to you?

These thank you letters are important to show appreciation to donors for their contributions and will help raise more Campership money in the future.
