About the Camp
Girls camps since 2016, back in Cranbrook.
Our first Cranbrook girls camp ran in August 2026, presented in partnership with College of the Rockies, and it's coming back for summer 2027.
It's the same girls-only adventure camp we run in Vernon, Kelowna and Kamloops: four days of mountain biking and outdoor adventure, small groups, and women coaches who know how to make a new skill feel possible.

We build camp culture on purpose. From the first morning to the last high-five, every girl knows she's meant to be here, exactly as she is.
Coached by women who get it
Our coaches know their skills, and they understand the emotional side of being a girl learning something new. They bring patience and encouragement, and they know when to push and when to back off.
A community that outlasts camp
Girls ask the questions they'd normally swallow and cheer for each other without a second thought. Most go home with new friends, and often with a love of being outside that sticks.
We've been running girls-only camps since 2016. We've watched quiet girls become leaders, and unsure riders become people who trust themselves on and off the bike.

Four days of real adventure.
Mountain biking is the heart of camp, and every day mixes in something new. This is what our 2026 Cranbrook camp was built around. The 2027 lineup will be shared with families before camp.
Trail riding
Riding the Cranbrook Community Forest trails and the Bike Skills Park.
Hiking and bushcraft
Exploring the Community Forest and learning outdoor skills.
Herbalism walk
Learning local plants with a Cranbrook guide.

Elizabeth Lake Lodge, because camp wouldn't be camp without it.
Bike requirement: Girls need to be able to ride a two-wheeled bike on their own. No mountain bike experience needed, just the basics. Girls bring their own bike and helmet. If gear is a barrier, email us at info@adventuringintolife.ca and we'll see what we can work out.
Our 2026 Cranbrook camp was proudly presented in partnership with College of the Rockies, with the COTR campus as home base.

What age is Girls Adventure Camp Cranbrook for?
Camp is for girls ages 9 to 13. Brand new to the outdoors or already experienced, she belongs here.
When is the 2027 Cranbrook girls camp?
Camp is coming back for summer 2027, and dates are still being finalized. Our first Cranbrook camp ran in August 2026. Join the waitlist on this page and we'll email you as soon as 2027 dates and registration are posted.
Does my daughter need mountain biking experience?
She needs to be able to ride a two-wheeled bike on her own. Beyond that, no experience is needed. Our coaches meet every rider where she's at, from complete beginners to girls who've already ridden trails.
Where is camp in Cranbrook?
Our 2026 camp was based at the College of the Rockies campus, presented in partnership with COTR. From there we headed out to places like the Cranbrook Community Forest and the Bike Skills Park. 2027 location details will be posted with the dates, and drop-off and pick-up details are sent to families before camp.
Is this a day camp or overnight camp?
It's a four-day day camp, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Girls are dropped off and picked up each day, with no overnight stay.
Who are the coaches?
Every coach, counsellor and facilitator at camp is a woman. Every coach completes AIL training, lead coaches hold first aid, and lead mountain bike coaches hold PMBIA or GSMBC Level 1 at minimum. Groups are small on purpose.
Why girls-only?
In a girls-only group, girls take more risks, ask more questions and cheer each other on more freely. We've seen it in our girls camps since 2016, and the whole program is built with girls in mind.
What does my daughter need to bring?
A backpack, water bottle, packed lunch and snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat and closed-toe shoes, plus her own bike and helmet. Layers help, since the weather can change quickly. A full packing list is sent to registered families before camp.
How much does Cranbrook girls camp cost?
The 2026 Cranbrook camp was $350 per girl for all four days of programming. 2027 pricing will be posted with the dates. Bikes, helmets and food aren't included. If cost is a barrier, our campership program can cover some or all of the fee.
