Bring this to my school
How it works
Our trained instructors provide the gear and expertise to bring the Ready to Ride basic bike skills program directly to your school's Grade 4–5 students.
An interactive classroom or online lesson focusing on helmet safety, bike parts, and essential road rules.
Hands-on practice on school grounds featuring simulated traffic, intersections, shared pathways, and maneuvering drills.
We gather feedback from teachers and families to continually improve the program and support cycling culture in your school community.
Benefits
Fully funded for eligible BC schools through the Everyone Rides initiative.
A full fleet of bikes and helmets is provided for every session — nothing for schools to source.
We provide adaptive bikes and tricycles for students with mobility challenges.
Sessions are delivered over two days by trained, certified professional instructors.
Classroom teachers can get involved at the New Riders station using HUB's step-by-step guide and video.
Provincial vision
Developed by HUB Cycling, this program helps BC reach vital goals for a better province. We aim to provide universal cycling education to every student in British Columbia.
