“YEAH! Girls (Young Entrepreneurs At Heart) are provided with the resources, tools and confidence to start their own small business. All while developing an entrepreneurial mindset to help them succeed no matter what they choose to do as adults.”

Why do girls need this?
Because studies find —
A girl's self-esteem peaks at age 9
By age 14 girls' confidence levels drop by 30%
Between the ages of 12 and 13 the number of girls who say they're not allowed to fail increases by 3X

YEAH! Girls is committed to providing a safe space for girls to…
Be free from fear of judgment
Express themselves with confidence
Take safe risks and push themselves
Refine and recreate vs. give up

An Entrepreneurial mindset is critical to success in our rapidly changing world
What does that look like?
Flexible/adaptable
See change before it happens
Focus on growing and improving
Identify opportunities and move towards them
We don’t expect all YEAH! Girls to become entrepreneurs, but through helping them cultivate the strong mindset of one we are able to help girls be successful in whatever they choose to pursue.
Can an entrepreneurial mindset be nurtured??
Yes! YEAH! Girls will develop their entrepreneurial mindset through the experience of launching their own business - a product or service to sell to real to customers.

YEAH! Girls is more than introducing girls to entrepreneurship, it’s…
Creating an experience where learning is a byproduct
Building responsibility through ownership & creation of ideas
Mindfulness -seeing how the choices each of us make affect our outcomes
Understanding the importance of hard work in achieving success
Improving communication skills & increasing their ability to express themselves
Thinking imaginatively & innovatively, to see what others miss
Learning to take initiative & be proactive
Exploring challenges and finding the best solutions
Becoming able to ask for and receive feedback
Learning that by providing value to someone, they can earn something in return
Helping girls to think without limits and explore their potential!
Research shows us that when girls receive the right kind of help at the right time, they can increase their self-esteem, improve their mental health, and develop more resilience through lifes challenges.
When a girl feels confident, she is more likely to
ask for help / have strength to resist peer pressure / cope with conflict

“It’s never too young to start, I started when I was 13. Most people are afraid, but if you’re passionate about it, you’re never too young.”
