Come Stomp it.

Join us on October 10th, 2026 for an epic adventure. Run and bike, or just bike, your way through the Stake Lake Stomp Mountain Bike Trails and the Overlander Ski Club trails. This is a grassroots race built for people who want to challenge themselves, maybe race a few friends, and have a genuinely good day outside.

Everything starts, transitions, and finishes at the main parking area at Stake Lake Provincial Park. Choose your race below and start planning your day.

Two ways to race

Race solo, race as a team, or just come for the ride. Both options run the same course.

Choice A

Adventure Duathlon

A 3k trail run around Stake Lake, straight into a 25k mountain bike ride on the world famous Stake Lake Stomp trails, finished off with a 10k trail run through the Overlander Ski Club's ski and snowshoe trails.

Solo, men's or women's 2 person mixed team One runner, one rider

Choice B

Bike Only

A 25k mountain bike race on the world famous Stake Lake Stomp trails. Solo entry, one open division. You'll roll out after the duathletes head off on their ride, and you'll ride the exact same course they do.

The duathlon course

Three stages, one loop back to the lodge

Everything starts and ends at the same spot, so friends and family can cheer you through every transition.

Trail Run

A relatively flat loop around Stake Lake to open the race.

MTB Ride

Blue and black Stake Lake Stomp trails, with ride-arounds at every black section.

10K

Trail Run

Overlander Ski Club's ski and snowshoe trails carry you home to the finish.

There is one steep section near the end of the ride that some riders may want to walk. It is very walkable. The 10k run route is still being finalized and will be posted to our Facebook page once confirmed. One aid station is provided on the 10k run.

Duathlon Solo

$50

Run, ride, run. Enter as one racer, men's or women's.

Duathlon Team

$80 / team

Two people max, mixed. One runner, one rider.

Bike Only

$40

25k on the Stomp trails. Solo, open division.

Partial proceeds are donated to the KBRA and OSC. You must be 16 or older to race, e-bikes are not permitted, and all racers are required to sign a waiver to participate.
